Commercial and Residential Bee and Wasp Removal

Bee & Wasp Removal from Commercial & Residential Properties

Bees are critical in pollinating our flowers, crops and vegetables. Strong colonies often divide three times in a season and send out a swarm to extend the pollination over a larger area. If the swarm decides to take up residence in or around your property, it can become a nuisance. Inside a wall, bees will peel the paper off gyprock and release a lot of moisture from the evaporation of nectar. They often attract cockroaches, and other pests, creating a bigger problem.

So if you have a bee or wasp problem, don’t delay – call Rod Yates Beekeeping at the first sign of trouble. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we can always be there when you need us, usually within 90 minutes!

How to Spot an Infestation and What to Do

Bee swarms may gather on tree branches or structures, such as fences or the side of a building. Scout bees are sent out from the swarm to find a suitable location for the new nest. Once a place is located, the swarm will leave and relocate to the new site.

When bees decide to take up residence in or around our homes, they usually look for a dark, dry and warm space to build their nest. Unfortunately, this often means they end up in places like our walls, possum boxes or any other cavity. While a small number of bees visiting your property is nothing to be concerned about, large groups of bees can become problematic.

While most bees are harmless, some colonies can be aggressive, and their venomous sting can be painful.
